Las Vegas can be a lot of fun. With all of the extreme excess on the strip and the calm desert in the background, there’s no end of things to do. And while you’re there, you have to eat. But what are your options for Las Vegas vegan food?

Luckily, I have put together a Las Vegas vegan food guide to different options, so no matter what you are hungry for, you can find something that fits your dietary needs.

Las Vegas vegan food guide travel

Buffets

Eat at some of the buffets at your own risk–not only is there a high risk of cross-contamination and nothing is labeled with a full ingredient list, but there also aren’t many options most places. These ones, however, are some of the best on the strip. The more vegan options there are, the more likely it is that the chefs know enough about vegan food to avoid the common mistakes.

Pro tip: The best way to navigate these buffets is to ask the chefs questions. They know a lot about food and what goes in it–they will be your best friends here.

The Wynn Buffet

The Wynn is known as the best place for Las Vegas vegan food, and its buffet is no exception. Every food item is labeled with allergens and which dietary restrictions it follows, so vegan eating won’t be a guessing game.

Though options rotate, some great dishes it has offered include curry, risotto, and tofu stir fry. All so flavorful thanks to the fantastic vegan chef Tal Ronnen.

Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood

While nowhere else quite matches the Wynn buffet, the Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood boasts enough Las Vegas vegan food options to stuff yourself in true buffet tradition: Roasted carrots, rice, vegetable spring rolls, salad, and Mediterranean staples like tabouli, dolmas, and baba ganoush.

Buffet at Aria

This buffet has a great salad bar and some great options like vegan sushi and mini sandwiches. Other great items include cous cous, cilantro lime rice, and cauliflower curry.

Feast Buffet at Palace Station

Here at the Feast Buffet, your best options are going to be the Wok This Way and Healthy Favorite stations, which each boast numerous vegan options and a wide gluten free selection. The soup bar has at least one option made with  vegetable broth, and there is a fabulous hummus bar to make your snacking dreams come true.

On the Strip

Once you’ve filled up on buffets, you might be looking for somewhere to either sit down or grab a bite to go. There are lots of great options on the Strip.

The Wynn Las Vegas

This wonderful hotel and casino comes back to the list. Outside of the buffet, the Wynn boasts that every single one of its eateries has vegan options. It is a huge relief to just walk into a restaurant and know you’ll have something to eat without having to order a salad with no dressing or cheese.

With multiple Italian spots, a steakhouse, Chinese and Japanese fare, and a brunch location, you will find something for every palate.

Hussong’s Cantina

Hussong’s Cantina has an entire vegan menu for you to eat your heart out on incredible Mexican food. It has all of your favorites, from nachos to enchiladas to chilaquiles. Daiya cheese and Gardein meat substitutes can be found throughout the menu.

Slice of Vegas

This pizza place at Mandalay Place is one of the places you can get a delicious slice of vegan pizza. Their vegan menu also includes delicious appetizers, pasta, and salads. You will stuff yourself on pesto garlic bread and chick’n wings before you even get to the pizza.

Vegenation

Everything on this menu is vegan, which is always awesome. Burritos, French toast, smoothies, dumplings, burgers, and more. They even have a kids menu if you have your little ones with you: spaghetti and meatballs, grilled cheese, and a dirt and worms dessert are some of the wonderful kid staples.

Pop up Pizza

This pizza place has a much smaller vegan menu, mostly featuring “The Soho” with bell peppers, spinach, artichoke, and mushrooms. The big thing here is the vegan soft serve chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Fantastic comfort food.

Chef Kenny’s Asian Vegan

This Asian restaurant is amazing. The whole menu is vegan, and the items are nearly indistinguishable from their meaty originals. (My omnivore boyfriend was pleased with the authenticity of the orange chicken).

I have not had some of these menu items since going vegan, so it was really satisfying to have them here.

Violette’s Vegan Organic Cafe

This full vegan café starts with a long drink menu of shakes, smoothies, and juices. The food includes a number of gluten free options. From appetizers like loaded potato skins to pad thai and the BLTA sandwich, you are guaranteed to get your fill of delicious food.

No Butcher

In addition to great food, you will be able to pick up meat substitutes of all kinds to go. The deli here offers a variety of savory sandwiches and sides. Try the Italian cold cut and a side of potato salad.

TacoTarian

This incredible taco spot boasts a selection of at minimum 14 vegan tacos per day. But don’t get so swept away that you forget to try the takis elote and asada fries!

There are so many incredible vegan options in Las Vegas. Make sure you check at least a few of them out next time you go.
